The Neighborhood House
CONNECT. HOPE. HEAL.
The Neighborhood House of Long Island, founded in 2013, believes that people living with loss deserve a special place where they can connect with others on a similar journey, receive the support and help they need to heal, and discover their own strength and resilience. It is our mission to provide unique support groups to individuals and families struggling in the aftermath of traumatic loss so that they can grieve at their own pace. We aim to restore hope, and provide a community of kindness, respect and acceptance. In addition, we provide prevention programs to the community and corporate partners on issues of suicide prevention, addiction awareness and prevention and coping with grief. Our services are available to people of all races, orientation and religious practices at no cost.
OUR MISSION
DONATE
The Neighborhood House depends on your donations to ensure all grieving children and families receive the highest quality of care. Any amount you can donate goes a long way to providing hope and healing.
