Cancellations and Refunds

At The Neighborhood House of Long Island, we value the generous contributions of our supporters and are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all attendees of our Fall Fundraiser. Please review our refund and cancellation policy for the Annual Fall Fundraiser below:

1. Cancellation by Attendees:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event will be issued a full refund of the ticket price.

  • Cancellations made 14 to 29 days before the event will be issued a 50% refund of the ticket price.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will be issued no refunds.

  • Transfer of tickets is permitted if you are unable to attend the event. Please notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the event with the details of the person attending in your place.

2. Event Cancellation by The Neighborhood House:

  • In the unlikely event that the fundraiser is canceled by The Neighborhood House, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued to all registered attendees.

  • If the event is rescheduled, attendees will have the option to transfer their ticket to the new date or receive a full refund if they are unable to attend on the rescheduled date.

3. Donation Refunds:

  • Donations made during the event or as part of ticket purchases (where a portion of the ticket price is designated as a donation) are non-refundable.

4. Processing Time:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request or event cancellation notice.

Alcohol Disclaimer Statement

​In accordance with New York State law, the legal age for purchasing and consuming alcohol is 21 years old. By purchasing alcohol or attempting to purchase alcohol at any of our events or through any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age. Valid government-issued identification will be required to verify age at the point of purchase and/or delivery.

 

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide valid identification, appears intoxicated, or is under the legal drinking age.

 

Please drink responsibly.

The Neighborhood House depends on your donations to ensure all grieving children and families receive the highest quality of care. Any amount you can donate goes a long way to providing hope and healing.
